Nothing To Do

Well today has been so boring i’ve actually thought about shoving shitty knitting needles in my eyes just to see if it’ll hurt!!

Playdoh Is The Future!

Its official i’m obsessed with Playdoh!! My Mum came home from Asda a couple of days ago with three tubs of the stufff. I was very wary at first of even getting it out. Scenarios with trips to the hospital kept rushing through my head, Leyla could find anywhere to get it stuck and ingest a full tub before you could blink. Well anyhow i ventured to get it out and now i’m ordering more colours!! I think i’ve actually turned into a bully! I’m getting really creative and everytime Leyla even thinks about touching my creation i freak. I’ve even held her head at arms reach whilst she swoops and flails abotu with her arms. I know it just doesn’t sound very motherly but its mine!!!!

When i was a kid i had every colour and gadget under the sun that went with Playdoh and i just can’t remember now why i ever stopped playing with it in the first place. The smell of it is enough to take you straight back to your childhood. Its kept Leyla really happy and occupied (when i’ve not been playing with it) and i’m definitely investing in some more. An the worries i had about her eating it are all but gone!! She hasn’t even tried to eat it, that girl never ceases to amaze me!

I’m Moving To Huthwaite!! ARGH!!

Well the past week has been slightly mental for me. Clarkie has been home which has been great. My routine has been all to cock though. Its been really nice to see him though and spend time together!! Leyla didn’t forget who he was!! I was really worried that she would be she’s as bright as a button and the change didn’t phase her at all!!

As you will see from the title i’m moving house!! The plans all started at the beginning of last week. My mum and Dave had a blazing row and everything was up in the air. As you will know until i find a house i’m staying with my mum, Dave and brother Lee. Its cramped to say the least and i think we’re all treading on eachothers toes. Well anyhow i saw my mate Tonks in town and knew he had a flat/house above his shop that was vacant. The rent isn’t bad an the place is lovely!! I’ve even got an en suite in my room!!! The other bathroom has a sunken bath which is massive and the kitchen is just to die for!! Its got a big second bedroom and Lee has decided he’s coming with me, which means i won’t get too lonely!! I’m really happy about it!! Just a shame it won’t be permanent!! Keep looking for pics of the place!!

My Holiday

Well i’m back from my hoilday and this is the only chance i’ve had to write a post.

My holiday was ok. Now normally people come back raving about how greater time they had, me on the other hand think my holiday was just ok. We went away for 2 weeks and out of the 14 days it rained 12. I was gutted!! I was hoping to come back with a mega tan and be feeling relaxed. To be honest it was more than draining at times. When it rained it was like a monsoon because we were staying on a caravan site that was feet from the sea front. To be honest though it didn’t stop us from going out and enjoying ourselves. We went to loads of places, Truro, Mevagissey, Pelporro, Looe, Padstow, St Ives, Charlestown etc. It was better than ok i suppose an Leyla loved it so that makes it even better.

Highlights were seeing Rolf Harris in the flesh in St Ives. That was a bit surreal to be honest. Everyone was making a massive fuss of him and all i could think abotu was his didjery doo!!! (dont think i spelt that right!). Also i went crabbing for the first time in 22 years and i bloody loved it. I’ve been to Cornwall on holiday since i was 5 years old and i was never allowed to go crabbing. So this year i brought my own line and bucket. I caught a crab first time and i was buzzing. But to be honest the crab was disabled, it only had one pincer and only seven legs. None the less i caught him and it filled a lifetimes ambition!!!

Most nights we’d stay on site and go to the club. We all played bingo and had a right laugh, even better one night me and my cousin won £200. That was a nice bonus!!! We all got very drunk and Leyla was dancing the night away until gone midnight most nights. She loved it, we just couldn’t drag her away!!

All in all i’d say it was a great holiday after all just without the tan and a lot of wetness!! I’ll be adding my holiday snaps soon so keep having a look!!!
